For Mother Courage and Her Children, the scenic team repurposed an existing set from the production of These Shining Lives. Adding to the set, I helped cover up unwanted lettering on the center flat, added more shadows and cracked details to create a darker composition, and painted exposed bricks to add to the top of the flats to create an eerier, darker mood for the play.

For this production, I painted most of the brick on the flats using a stencil as my guide, and then assisted in creating more texture using stamps in darker and lighter colors. I also used stamps to add dimension to the door frames, and to give a more period feel, I helped spatter the flats to create a weathered look.
For an independent study in an Advanced Scenic Painting course, I chose to replicate Johannes Vermeer's The Girl with a Pearl Earring. I sized my own muslim canvas, gridded and transferred the painting, and then used a reference to get as close as possible to the original source.
In March 2021 I had the opportunity to paint a backdrop for a local Church’s Easter service. Using minimal color and loose painting techniques, I was able to create this realistic stone piece on a flat surface.

After a coat of a grey primer paint, I began by creating shadows on the rocks.

I was also asked to create a simple stone pattern to cover the front of a plywood platform.
